Annual Day Celebrations @ Sri Sathya Sai English Medium LP School

This was held at Sulekha Auitorium, on February 25, 2018 Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The program began with the chanting of the Vedic manthras and Sarvadharma Prayer. The students themselves welcomed each guest one-by-one extolling their merits. The function was led by Sri AM Prabhakaran, SVP, SSSO, Kerala. Smt. Deepa Jayaprakash, Headmistress, presented the yearly report in a nouvelle way with slide presentations. Sri Prabhakaran, commented on the special features of the school and the immense support of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation. One of the inaugural guest was Sri Ahammed Moopen, one of the directors of ASTER MIMS Hospital. He immensely praised the activities that are being carried by Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation. Sri (Dr.) V. Anand Mohan, who received the Sri Sathya Sai Dhanwanathatri Award from Prashanthi Nilayam, was felicitated. Smt. Manju Vani, who had been a resident in Palakkad district for many years was also felicitated. She is a dubbing artist cum cine artist, a singer and a High Court judge. Grama Panchayath Member Smt. Sreeja Sunil, Sri Ramesh, the Village Panchayath President (a State Govt. Award winner for good performance) gave their valuable comments on the school and it’s future progress. Everyone, in one voice, complemented the parents’ immense involvement in every aspect of the school. The parents were the key volunteers who arranged all the decorations. In fact it is only due to the strong bonding between students, parents and teachers that the admissions to this school has been closed so early in contrast to many other schools.

The “Thanks giving” was done by Sri Prasad, a representative for all the parents. Prizes for students on various accounts, consolation prizes for teachers who participated in Teacher’s Conference at Puttaparthi, prizes for punctuality and regularity in students, consolation prize arranged for the Headmistress by the parents for her untiring effort in developing the school, provision kit for 5 poor selected families were all given by the various guests. Chief Guest was officially handed over this year’s souvenir. Following the commencement of the inauguration ceremony, a 5 hours “mind blowing” programs were presented by students of various sections. One of the many beautiful program was a drama which represented glimpses from the lives of Shirdhi Sai and Parthi Sai. From the beginning of the inauguration to the end of the cultural program, it could be well noted that the auditorium was “full-packed”, with many spectators thronging on the side entrances seat less. The program ended by Mangala Arathi.
